Nagelsmann leaves door open for rotations against Ghana
Julian Nagelsmann didn’t want to reveal his plans for Germany’s next game on Monday.
| Julian Nagelsmann disclosed his team selection a day before the game against Switzerland, but he decided to keep his cards very close to his chest when asked about a potential rotation for Monday’s game against Ghana in Stuttgart. |
“We’ll now see how we came out of this game and which players are fit,” said Nagelsmann after the game. “Then, we’ll see exactly which players are ready and who we can field (against Ghana).”
As he promised before Friday’s game, Nagelsmann only made four substitutions, even if he could’ve used two teams like Switzerland did for the friendly in Basel. Real Madrid’s center-back Antonio Rüdiger and Germany’s in-form striker Deniz Undav were among the players who were unused subs.
