Delhi government is bringing new policy of borewell connection, now every applicant will get connection.

With increasing heat, water problem has become common in the capital Delhi. In many areas people are facing problems for clean drinking water, and in some areas people depend on tanker water. Now keeping this problem in mind, Delhi Government Minister Pravesh Verma has given great news. He told that everyone will get borewell connection in Delhi. Interested people can get borewell connection in their area by taking official permission.

Delhi Water Minister Pravesh Verma announced in the Assembly that the government is soon coming up with a new policy, in which permission will be given to all Delhiites applying for borewell connection. Minister Verma said that Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has also approved this scheme. He said that this step has been taken with the aim of reducing the increasing water problem in the capital and providing reliable water to the citizens.

Who will get borewell connection?

Delhi Water Minister Pravesh Verma informed in the Assembly that as per the instructions of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, every domestic borewell connection applicant will now be given a connection. He told that earlier to get a borewell connection in Delhi, the applicant had to apply to the District Magistrate (DM) and the connection was given only after getting his permission. Now after the order of the Chief Minister, this process has become easier and the connection will be directly available to every applicant. Minister Verma said that this step will prove important in solving the increasing water problem in the capital and providing reliable water to the citizens.

Action will be taken against these people

While giving information about the rules of borewell connection in Delhi Assembly, Water Minister Pravesh Verma said that lakhs of houses in Delhi will be given permission for borewell connection. Minister Verma made it clear that strict action will be taken against those borewell connections which are running without permission. Its objective is to control the use of borewells in the capital and ensure water availability. He said that under the new policy, every eligible applicant will get the connection easily, but action will be taken against those who violate the rules.

a condition for permission

There is great news for the people of Delhi. While announcing to provide borewell connection to every house in the capital, Water Minister Pravesh Verma also mentioned a condition. He said that any citizen of Delhi who asks for permission for connection will be given permission, but a fee will have to be paid for it. At present the minister has not told what will be the amount of this fee and by what process it will be collected. Minister Verma also clarified that as per the rules, all eligible applicants will get the connection, but it will be mandatory to pay the fee.
