After the underperformance of The Raja Saab, director Maruthi addressed the situation and shared an update about his coming project.
The film, which starred Prabhas, had released before in 2026 but did not achieve as anticipated at the box office despite a strong opening.
Taking to social media on the occasion of Rama Navami, Maruthi posted a picture of himself sitting in front of idols at his home. A script for his upcoming film was placed in front of him.
He wrote, “Every journey is a learning experience. On this auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, I’m grateful to be giving final touches to my next script with His blessings.”
The Bhale Bhale Magadivoy director also thanked his audience and supporters for their feedback.
“A heartfelt thank you to all my audience, well-wishers and the media for constantly supporting me and sharing your valuable feedback. I truly respect each and every one of you,” he added.
The Prati Roju Pandage director further said, “I will put in my best efforts and sincerely strive to earn your appreciation and support.”
The Raja Saabreleased in January, had opened well but later saw a drop in collections. The film was mounted on a large budget and had created strong expectations before release.
