After watching the film, Karan became so emotional that he could not control himself. Not only this, he even called ‘Dhurandhar 2’ the best film of Ranveer Singh’s career.
This film, directed by Aditya Dhar, left a deep impact on Karan Johar. Through his post, he praised the entire team of the film. Karan openly praised the story, direction and acting of the film and called it a great cinematic experience.

While sharing the poster of the film on social media, Karan Johar wrote, "The discussion about testosterone, ultra-alpha energy and deep patriotism will continue, as it should… but #Dhurandhar2 is much more than that."

Earlier this month, Karan Johar had told that he is very much waiting to see ‘Dhurandhar’. He had said that he was shooting in a remote area, where there was no cinema facility.

About ‘Dhurandhar 2’
‘Dhurandhar 2’ is a spy action thriller film, which is the sequel of ‘Dhurandhar’. The first film was released in December 2025 and earned more than Rs 1300 crore worldwide.
The story of the film revolves around an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates the criminal gangs of Karachi and the political system of Pakistan to dismantle a terrorist network plotting against India.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi are also seen in important roles in this film.
The film is also surrounded by controversies
While the film received positive response from the audience, it also came into controversies. A picture of Ranveer Singh wearing a turban and smoking a cigarette went viral on social media, which hurt people’s sentiments.
On this, director Aditya Dhar gave clarification and said, "I am deeply grateful for the immense love that ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ has received from audiences across the country and the world. However, I have learned that some people are spreading false and misleading claims by manipulating officially released promotional materials using artificial intelligence,"
He appealed to the people to trust only the official material.
