Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate railway projects worth Rs 891 crore in Gujarat

Gandhinagar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming on a one-day visit to Gujarat on Tuesday, March 31. During this, he will present various projects worth Rs 891 crore of the Railway Ministry of the Government of India to the citizens of the state.

Prime Minister Modi will also flag off a new train to strengthen connectivity, accelerate economic activities and increase transportation convenience for passengers. He will virtually inaugurate these projects from Vav-Tharad in Gujarat. State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be present during this program. This information was given by the State Information Department.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 55 km new railway line from Himmatnagar to Khedbrahma, which has been constructed at a cost of Rs 482 crore.

Through this, there will be significant improvement in connectivity in Sabarkantha district, which will ensure quick and affordable travel and this project will provide direct connectivity to Ahmedabad with Udaipur.

It is expected that this will increase access to essential services like health care and education as well as create new livelihood opportunities for local communities.

Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the additional railway line under Kanalus-Jamnagar Doubling Project (27 km) and Gandhidham-Adipur Multitracking Project (11 km), built at a cost of Rs 257 crore.

With these projects, train movement will become faster and easier. as well as; Movement of goods will be more efficient and connectivity to important industrial centers including the Deendayal Portal will improve. These projects will also contribute to local tourism development.

In this program, the Prime Minister will flag off the train from Khedbrahma to Ahmedabad, which will run via Himmatnagar. With the start of this train, travel for citizens in this area will become faster and easier and local economic development will get a boost.

In line with the vision of the Prime Minister, various initiatives have been taken to make Indian Railways modern and more efficient. Continuous efforts are being made to enrich the travel experience of citizens by ensuring connectivity to remote areas. These initiatives will promote inclusive growth and make the Indian economy stronger.
