NIA wanted: 2 prize shooters of Himanshu Bhau gang arrested from Maharashtra, had created terror in Delhi-Haryana

Himanshu Bhau Gang Shooters Arrested in Maharashtra: Special Cell (Counter Intelligence Unit) of Delhi Police has got another major success against the gangster network. Two of the most dreaded shooters of NIA’s wanted gangster Himanshu Bhau, who is running his syndicate in India from America, have been arrested from Maharashtra. The arrested criminals have been identified as Lakshya and Neeraj.

Both shooters were carrying prizes of Rs 1 lakh each.

According to the police, Lakshya and Neeraj were absconding for a long time and were on the radar of Haryana Police including Delhi-NCR. A reward of Rs 1 lakh each was announced on both of them. Investigation has revealed that both of them had committed many criminal crimes in Delhi and Haryana, which include major cases of murder and extortion. He is also said to have played a major role in a famous murder case in Haryana.

Increased pressure from foreign networks

Gangster Himanshu Bhau is currently operating his gang sitting abroad (possibly America). He uses digital mediums to lure local boys and join his gang and then gets them to commit crimes like extortion, firing and murder. In recent times, the hand of this gang has come to light behind the extortion money from the traders of Delhi-NCR.

Rest of the shooters were also eliminated

The police is continuously tightening its grip on Himanshu Bhau gang. Even before this, the police have made many big encounters and arrests.

Encounter of Pawan alias Kallu: On 27 February 2026, Pawan alias Kallu, a criminal carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh, was killed in an encounter with STF and local police in Agra. He came in contact with Himanshu in jail and after his release, he was looking after the extortion work.

Arrest of Vicky and Chanderbhan: In January 2026, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police caught Vicky alias Mowgli and Chanderbhan after an encounter. Both of them were also active members of Bhau gang.

Increasing terror and police strictness

Himanshu Bhau gang has carried out several firing incidents in the last few months in areas like Dichaun Kalan and Hirankundna of Delhi. The Special Cell is now interrogating the arrested Lakshya and Neeraj so that Bhau’s sleeper cell and future conspiracies can be exposed.
