Tehran, March 28. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant was once again attacked with projectiles late on Friday night. This is the third such attack on the plant amid the conflict between Iran and America-Israel that started on February 28. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has warned that there has been no damage in the attacks yet, but if repeated attacks on nuclear sites continue, the consequences could be very bad. However, there was no report of any casualty, damage to property or technical disruption in the latest attack.

The Iranian organization has held America and Israel responsible for this. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Iran had informed it about the attack. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi again expressed deep concern and appealed for greater military control to avoid the risk of a nuclear accident. Although both the Khondab Heavy Water Plant and the Khuzestan Steel Factory are safe, experts have warned that there could be serious consequences if the facilities containing radioactive material are repeatedly targeted.

Israel’s National Emergency Service Magen David Adom (MDA) and Israeli Police said that a missile launched from Iran killed a 60-year-old man in Israel’s central city of Tel Aviv. According to police, the incident was linked to an expendable cluster munition missile, which struck several locations in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area on Friday night (local time). Police further said that the deceased was a construction worker who was hit by shrapnel from a cluster munition launched from the missile and the missile exploded near him. MDA also said that two people were slightly injured after being hit by the missile.
