Rajgarh: 12 year old boy who had gone to graze goats died due to drowning in a well, police investigation continues.
Rajgarh. On Friday, 12-year-old boy Laxman son of Ramesh Tanwar died due to drowning in a well in village Richhadiya of Bhojpur police station area in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. The police handed over the body to the family members after the post-mortem on Saturday, established a probe and started investigation in the case.
According to the information, Laxman had gone to the field to graze goats with an eight-year-old child of his village. During this time, he felt thirsty and started climbing down the stairs from the well in the field, when his foot slipped and he drowned in deep water.
The child present with him raised an alarm, after which the nearby villagers reached the spot and with great effort took the child out of the well and took him to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead after examination.
The police have established a path and started investigating how the child fell into the well at the time of the accident and what were the actual circumstances of the incident.
