Two Indian LPG tankers reached Hormuz with 9000 tons of gas, when will the crisis hit the country?
‘Friend’ India is once again in the hands of Iran. Despite the closure of the Strait of Hormuz during the war, Tehran has allowed some Indian ships to pass through the waterway. Two Indian ships were once again allowed to pass through Hormuz on Saturday. According to sources, two ships loaded with gas have already crossed Hormuz. The gas tanker is expected to arrive in India within a few days.
It is reported that two ships named BW ELM and BW TYR crossed Hormuz together. In total, there are more than 90 thousand tons of LPG in the two ships. At the beginning of the war, after being stuck on the sea route for some time, the two ships finally left for India. Two ships have crossed Hormuz at high speed, according to sources. Four Indian ships carrying oil and gas have already passed through Hormuz. Two more gas tankers are arriving in India amid the month-long war.
It is reported that 20 Indian ships are still stuck in the area near Hormuz. It is also heard that the vessel, which is empty, is being loaded with LPG.
According to sources, Indian ships are crossing the Strait of Hormuz in a slightly detour than necessary. A couple of days ago, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that Hormuz is not completely closed. Ships from countries that have friendly relations with Iran are allowed to sail. Along with China, Russia, Pakistan, India is also included in the list of friendly countries. That’s why Indian ships have to take a detour rather than a shortcut. So that the Iranian administration can identify the Indian ships, that’s why it has to take a detour.
On the other hand, it is reported that 20 Indian ships are still stuck in the area adjacent to Hormuz. It is also heard that the vessel, which is empty, is being loaded with LPG. If the ship arrives in India with the help of Iran, the nationwide gas crisis will be solved, we hope. It should be noted that the supply of LPG from house to house has not been regular yet. Gas booking cannot be done before 25 days. Commercial cylinders also do not match regularly. Fear is increasing in the minds of our people. If the two ships come to India, the crisis will end?
