‘Bloody’ celebration in Mainpuri! Brother-in-law and sister-in-law danced together on DJ all night, dead bodies were found hanging on trees in the morning, silence spread in the village.

Mainpuri/Elau (Desk): On Saturday morning, such a news came in Bakhatpur village of Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh which gave goosebumps to the entire area. On Friday night, in the house where the joy of offering prayers to Mata Shitala Devi was being celebrated and people were dancing to the beats of DJ, as soon as Saturday dawned, mourning and silence spread there. There is a sensation after the bodies of an 18-year-old youth and his 30-year-old sister-in-law were found hanging from a tree outside the village.

Horrible end of a happy night: Danced fiercely on DJ

The incident took place in village Bakhatpur of Elau police station area. According to the information, uncle Bhimsen of village resident Akhilesh Kashyap (18) had gone to Mata Shitala Devi temple on Friday to offer prayers. Akhilesh, his aunt’s son’s wife Sarojini (30) and other family members also participated in this religious ritual. In the evening everyone returned to the village after completing the rituals happily. At night, a DJ was installed outside the house, where Akhilesh and Sarojini danced vigorously with other family members. Everything was normal till around 11 pm and after that everyone went to sleep, but no one had any idea what the scene would be like in the morning.

‘Scene of death’ found on a jamun tree near the fields

When the villagers went out to the fields on Saturday morning, they saw two dead bodies hanging from a jamun tree about 400 meters east of the village and the ground slipped beneath their feet. The deceased were identified as Akhilesh and his sister-in-law Sarojini. Within no time a huge crowd gathered at the spot. As soon as the information was received, Elau police station reached the spot, removed the dead bodies and sent them for post-mortem. The circumstances of the incident site and two deaths from the same noose have raised many unresolved questions.

Mysterious silence of family members: A big puzzle for the police

The most shocking thing in this double death case is the behavior of the family members. The house where till yesterday there was a festive atmosphere, there is now a mysterious silence. The family members are not ready to say anything about the reason behind this suicidal step. After all, what was the tension or relationship between brother-in-law and sister-in-law, due to which they thought it better to embrace death? Is this a matter of love affair or is there some deep family discord hidden behind it? The police are investigating all these points in depth.

Police engaged in investigation, waiting for post mortem report

Elau police say that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide, but the real cause of death will become clear only after the post mortem report comes. Police are recording statements of villagers and family members to connect the links between 11 pm and morning. At present, this incident has created panic and heated discussions in Bakhatpur village.
