Ariana Grande hints at new album via ‘Brighter Days’ hotline

Ariana Grande has sparked fresh speculation about her next musical era after teasing a potential eighth album through her Brighter Days hotline.

Released on March 28, the timing has drawn attention as the hint arrived exactly a year after the Eternal Sunshinewith fans pointing to a pattern of clues hinting at what many are calling “AG8”.

In the audio message, Grande playfully says, “We’re counting down the 8s… Oops, I meant the days!”, a remark that quickly fueled fan theories.

In the past few days, the Grammy-winning singer has been making repeated references to the number eight.

Earlier this month, the singer shared studio selfies at precisely 8 a.m. PST on March 18, fuelling speculation among her fanbase.

Days prior, she addressed similar theories, joking, “I have 8 glossy balms in my bag today,” before adding, “I realize what I’ve done by using that number, but that is genuinely the count.”

Despite the mounting hints, Grande has shut down the expectations of an imminent release. In a previous interview, she noted that her schedule, including preparations for the Eternal Sunshine tour, leaves little room for new music.

“I would need an extra brain and four more arms,” she said, suggesting that while clues continue to build, a new album may not arrive anytime soon.
