Story of ‘Chirayya’
The story of the series is set in a rich and respected family of Lucknow. The head of the family, Papaji (Sanjay Mishra) is a very big name person in the society. They talk big about women’s rights and respect, but the situation at home is different. Kamlesh (Divya Dutta), the daughter-in-law of the house, is less educated, but she takes full responsibility of the family. She serves her husband, father-in-law and the entire family like an ideal daughter-in-law. She has raised her brother-in-law Arun (Siddharth Shaw) as her own son. A big twist in the story comes when Arun’s new daughter-in-law Pooja (Prasanna Bisht) accuses her husband of rape after marriage. Pooja says that she is being forced without her consent. In this difficult time, even her own parents do not support Pooja. They advise him to remain silent. But at this time Pooja is supported by her sister-in-law Kamlesh.
