The group says the ballistic missile attack, which was intercepted by Israel, was aimed at Israeli military targets in the south of the occupied West Bank. US President Donald Trump has said that he is deeply disappointed by NATO’s response to the war against Iran. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that Israel’s attacks on two civilian nuclear sites and steel factories would have a heavy price to pay, while Iran’s military warned the US and Israel that they were playing with fire by attacking Iran’s energy infrastructure. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said no radioactive material was leaked from the attack on the Ardakan yellowcake production plant, which was also attacked along with the Khondab heavy water facility. According to an Israeli newspaper, Iran-backed Houthi rebels present in Yemen have fired ballistic missiles targeting Israel’s southern city of Beersheba and surrounding areas, about two thousand kilometers away. According to the Israeli Army, the air defense system was activated as soon as the missile launch was detected and the threat was destroyed in the air. There is no news of anyone being injured in this attack. This is believed to be the first attack on Israel from Yemen during the current war.
