Mann Ki Baat: Facing the energy crisis boldly
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 132nd episode of his monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. PM Modi mentioned Middle East tension and energy crisis in the beginning of this episode. PM Modi thanked the governments of Gulf and Gulf countries for the safety and help of Indians living in Middle East countries due to jobs. Along with this, he said that in the current energy crisis, India is fighting it boldly.
Inaugurating the 132nd episode of the Mann Ki Baat programme, PM Modi said, “This month of March has been very turbulent at the global level. We remember that the whole world had gone through many problems for a long time due to Covid in the past. We all expected that after coming out of the Corona crisis, the world will move forward on the path of progress. But in the present time, a situation of war and conflict has been created in different areas of the world. In our neighborhood since last one month. A fierce war is going on.”
Expressing his gratitude to the Gulf countries, the Prime Minister said, “Lakhs of our family members live in these countries, especially work in the Gulf countries. I am grateful to the Gulf countries that they are providing every kind of help to more than one crore such Indians there. The region where the war is currently going on is a major center of our energy needs. Due to this, a situation of crisis regarding petrol and diesel is being created across the world.”
Prime Minister Modi said that India is facing the current energy crisis boldly. Along with this, he appealed for unity among the people of the country. He said, “Because of our global relations, the cooperation we are getting from different countries and the strength of the country which has been built in the last decade, India is facing these situations boldly. This is a challenging time. I would urge all the countrymen to come out of that challenge unitedly. Those who are doing politics on this issue too, they should not do so. This is a subject related to the interest of 140 crore countrymen. There is no place for politics in this.”
