‘Mahasangrama’ in America against Donald Trump: Lakhs of people on the streets, White House echoed with ‘No Kings’
Washington/New York. As 30 days of the ongoing horrific bloodshed and conflict in West Asia are completed, its heat has now reached across the seven seas to America. The third wave of ‘No Kings’ protests against President Donald Trump’s Iran policy and war has engulfed the entire America. On Saturday, lakhs of American citizens took to the streets from New York to San Francisco, due to which the problems of the Trump administration seem to be increasing.
‘Anti-war’ roar from New York to San Francisco
Protestors in all small and big cities of America demanded an immediate stop to the war and a halt to skyrocketing inflation. Protesters marched through the streets of Midtown Manhattan against the Trump administration’s harsh immigration policies and the escalating conflict with Iran. At the same time, voices were raised in support of human rights and Ukraine in the Civic Center of San Francisco. The scope of the demonstration can be gauged from the fact that citizens from states with both Republican and Democrat ideologies were seen walking shoulder to shoulder.
Rock star Bruce Springsteen sings ‘Revolution’ full of tunes
A massive rally held in St. Paul, Minnesota gave new energy to the movement. Famous rock artist Bruce Springsteen enthralled the crowd with his performance. Springsteen also paid an emotional tribute to Alex Pretty and Renee Goode, who lost their lives in action by federal immigration agents. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also praised the courage of the protesters while sharply criticizing federal policies.
‘Double attack’ of war and inflation
Experts believe that war is not the only reason behind these demonstrations. The intensified missile and drone attacks between Iran and Israel have broken the back of the global economy. Rising fuel prices and economic slowdown in America have added fuel to public anger. There were sporadic verbal clashes in some areas supporting the president, such as West Palm Beach, Florida, but protests across the country remained peaceful.
‘Limit test’ in front of Trump administration
The worsening situation in West Asia and this huge public dissatisfaction within the country have put question marks on the policies of Biden-Trump. The American people have given a clear message that they prefer economic stability and peace at home rather than wasting money on foreign conflicts. Now it remains to be seen how the White House balances these demonstrations and the threats looming in the Gulf countries.
