The reason for this is that e-signatures were not done in the case of 15 lakh voters. Because earlier there was no provision for e-signature in the Election Commission’s software.

According to the information, now the names of these 15 lakh voters have once again been sent to the judicial authorities. Who will e-sign them. According to the Election Commission official, The Times of Newspaper has told that now the supplementary voter list will be released every day in West Bengal. After SIR in West Bengal, cases of 60 lakh 6 thousand 657 voters with logical discrepancy were reported. He was not given a place in the voter list by the Election Commission. After which the Supreme Court appointed 700 judicial officers to decide on voters with logical discrimination. These judicial officers are from West Bengal as well as Odisha and Jharkhand.

Voting for assembly elections is to be held in West Bengal on 23 and 29 April. The voters whose names are being struck off by the judicial officers can appeal to the tribunal. On the orders of the Supreme Court, the Election Commission has created 19 tribunals in West Bengal. Whose heads have been made senior retired judges. Those whose names are being removed from the voter list can appeal to these tribunals within 15 days. This appeal can be made offline by applying in the DEO office or online through ECINET and the Election Commission website. Along with the application, evidentiary documents will also have to be given to the tribunal. Where after the hearing the final decision will be taken on whether to keep the voter’s name or not.
