According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, rain, strong winds and thunderstorms can be seen in many parts of the state from March 30 to April 1.

According to meteorologists, the reason for this change is three different weather systems active simultaneously. This change in weather is taking place especially due to the influence of western disturbance. Its effect has started becoming visible from the evening of 29th March itself, which will be at its peak on 30th March.
More impact in Western UP
The impact of rain will be more visible in the districts of Western Uttar Pradesh. There may be strong winds along with light to moderate rain at many places. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in some areas.

The impact of weather will be relatively less in the eastern areas of the state. There may be light rain at some places, while the weather may remain dry in many areas.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning regarding strong winds between March 29 and 31. In many districts, winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 50 kilometers per hour, while in gusts this speed can reach 60 kilometers per hour. Along with this, there will also be a danger of lightning.

There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in many districts including Lucknow, Barabanki, Saharanpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Noida, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Kannauj, Kanpur, Aligarh, Mathura, Agra, Jhansi. People of these areas have been advised to be especially cautious.
When will the weather be clear in Uttar Pradesh?
From April 1, the weather will gradually start clearing in western Uttar Pradesh, while light rain may continue in some eastern areas. In view of the possibility of strong winds and lightning, people have been advised to avoid open spaces, not stand under trees and go out only when necessary.
