KKR gave a big target of 221 runs
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. KKR had a explosive start. There was a partnership of 69 runs between Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen. Allen was out after scoring 37 runs in 17 balls. Cameron Green got a good start, but he returned to the pavilion after scoring 18 runs. Ajinkya Rahane played a brilliant inning of 67 runs in 40 balls, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 51 runs in 29 balls. In the end, Rinku Singh scored unbeaten 33 runs in 21 balls and took KKR to a big score of 220 runs. For MI, Shardul Thakur took 3 wickets and Hardik Pandya took 1 wicket.

Mumbai Indians had a big target of 221 runs but the pair of Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton made it easy. Both of them started hitting big shots from the very beginning. A strong partnership of 148 runs was seen between them. Rohit played an inning of 78 runs in 38 balls at a strike rate of 205.26. He was out while trying to hit a big shot on Vaibhav Arora’s ball.
