Great earnings of Dhurandhar 2
Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s new film ‘Dhurandhar The Revenge’ is achieving unprecedented success at the box office. By the 11th day of its release, the film has earned collections that have broken many records in the film industry. This spy action thriller directed by Aditya Dhar continues to perform strongly in the second week.
On the second Friday, the film earned approximately Rs 41.75 crore. After this, there was a tremendous increase in earnings on Saturday, with a collection of Rs 62.85 crore. On Sunday, the film performed even better and earned Rs 68.10 crore. Thus, the total second weekend collection reached Rs 168.72 crore, which is a significant achievement for any film.
Dhurandhar 2 total box office collection
According to the earning figures, the total domestic net collection of the film has reached Rs 846.67 crore in just 11 days. This figure makes it one of the biggest films of the year. The special thing is that this film has crossed the lifetime collection of its predecessor film ‘Dhurandhar’ by Rs 840.20 crore.
The collection of Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpa 2 The Rise’ was Rs 812.14 crore, which has been left behind by ‘Dhurandhar 2’. With this achievement, the film has proved that it is not just a hit but a huge blockbuster.
Leaving other big films behind
‘Dhurandhar 2’ has overtaken the lifetime collections of many superhit films, including ‘RRR’ and ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. However, the film is still yet to surpass the huge records of ‘KGF Chapter 2’, ‘Bahubali 2 The Conclusion’ and ‘Pushpa 2 The Rise’.
The story of the film depicts the journey of a dangerous spy, in which Ranveer Singh is seen in the role of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who later becomes Hamza Ali Mazari. It has a wonderful mix of underworld, politics and intelligence missions, which is attracting the audience with both story and action.
