Strong wind, thunder and light rain have also been seen at some places in Haryana and Punjab. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in many districts including Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Yellow rain alert has also been issued for Delhi.

The Meteorological Department has said that cyclonic winds are blowing in the north-western region of Rajasthan and its associated areas. A low pressure area has formed up to northern Madhya Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, before the activation of another western disturbance from April 2, rain, hailstorm and snowfall are being seen in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be rain and snowfall in the hilly states. At the same time, there may be rain in Delhi, UP, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan on Tuesday.

The Meteorological Department estimates that there may be heavy rain at many places in North-Eastern India this week. Sporadic rain is expected at some places. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of this series of rains continuing in North-East India till Wednesday. At the same time, thunderstorms, strong winds and sporadic rain can be seen at many places in South India. Rain and snowfall continues due to western disturbances coming one after the other. Due to which there has not been any significant increase in the temperature in the plains. It is believed that from April 15 onwards, extreme heat will start everywhere. The Meteorological Department has already said that this year there will be extreme heat due to El Nino effect. Due to this, rainfall in monsoon is also likely to reduce.
