If you overload a commercial vehicle, or carry more passengers than the permitted limit in a passenger vehicle, this may result in your DL being suspended. These rules have changed

Under the ‘Public Trust Bill’, several provisions of the ‘Motor Vehicles Act’ are being amended. DL related rules are also being revised and amended. Now, even after the expiry of the driving license, the license will be considered valid for the next 30 days. Also, if your license is due to expire on 10th April, but you renew it before the due date e.g. Even if decided on 10th March, the renewal will be deemed to have come into effect from 10th April and not from 10th March.
