Amid conflict, a European country closed America’s airspace, war planes will have to travel thousands of kilometers

New Delhi. War has been going on in West Asia for 31 consecutive days. During this time, a European country has closed its airspace to America. Spain has clearly said that the entry of American war planes from our airspace has been stopped. Spain will not allow its airspace to be used for the ongoing war campaign in the Middle East. This information has been given by Spain’s Defense Minister Margarita Robles. Robles said that we had already clearly told America that we will not give our airspace to be used in the Iran war.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles said that this was made completely clear to the American army and forces from the beginning. Therefore neither these bases are permitted nor the use of Spanish airspace for any war-related operations in Iran. The Defense Minister said that the US cannot jointly use Spain’s military bases in the country for operations related to the Middle East conflict. The Spanish government led by Pedro Sanchez has previously been against US and Israeli military action in Iran. Let us tell you that till now American war planes used to cross the Atlantic Ocean and reach southern Spain. From there they reach Iran via Italy, Greece or North Africa. America’s warplanes used to land at Rota Naval Base and Moron Air Base in Spain for refueling. After closing Spain’s airspace, America will now have to take its planes around, due to which their route will now become much longer.
