Kerala Train Woman Harassment Viral Video: The scary incident that happened during a solo train journey of a woman in Kerala has created a wave of anger on social media. The woman, named Alina Elizabeth Kurian, shared a video on Instagram and said that the incident took place on March 15, when she was traveling alone on the Vanchinad Express from Changanassery to Ernakulam South.
In the video, a 50 to 60 year old man is seen repeatedly staring at her and making objectionable gestures, which made her quite uncomfortable.

Alina told that for her safety she recorded this video silently. He also clarified that it is wrong to blame women’s clothing for such incidents. “I was wearing a loose kurta, loose clothes and a mask, yet this happened.
It’s not a matter of clothes, but of thinking,” she said. Alina also revealed that this is not the first time this has happened to her. Earlier also an elderly man had behaved inappropriately with her, but then she remained silent. This time she decided to raise her voice.

The woman has complained about this incident to Ernakulam South Railway Protection Force (RPF) and has also shared the video. Officials have assured action on the viral video. The video has now been viewed more than 8.6 million times and has received thousands of reactions.
Many women on social media supported Alina by sharing their experiences and demanded strict action on this issue. Alina said in her message that every woman has the right to feel safe, no matter where she is or what she is wearing.
