It is a matter of pride for Chopan region that Divisional Traffic Manager (DTM) Chopan, Ranjit Kumar has been honored with the General Manager (GM) Award for his excellent work and remarkable contribution to the railway service. This honor was presented by Chhatrasal Singh (Hajipur), General Manager of East Central Railway.
According to the information received, a total of 87 officers and employees who gave excellent service in East Central Railway were selected for this prestigious “Outstanding Railway Service Award”. This award is given to those employees who have made significant contribution to the development and progress of Railways by showing exemplary performance in their field of work.
In the same sequence, Divisional Traffic Manager Chopan Shri Ranjit Kumar was awarded this honor for his important role in taking Dhanbad Division of Indian Railways to the first position in the field of freight loading and revenue (earnings). Due to his leadership, efficiency and dedication, the Board achieved remarkable achievements, which increased the income of the Railways and strengthened its operational system.
This honor of Ranjit Kumar has created an atmosphere of happiness and pride not only in Chopan but in the entire region. Railway officials and employees expressed happiness calling it the result of their collective hard work. Everyone wished him a bright future and said that such achievements become a source of inspiration for other employees also.
Local people and railway employees believe that under the leadership of such hardworking and dedicated officers, railway services in the area will further develop and passengers will continue to get better facilities.
