After the match, Jadeja made it clear that his intention was not aggressive or personal in any way. He said, “When I used to play for Chennai Super Kings, I used to celebrate in the same way in the camp. I have continued the same habit here too.” After this statement it became clear that it was just a stylish celebration and not any message towards any player.
Jadeja also showed how experience helps. He is well familiar with Shivam Dubey’s batting style, as both have played in the same team before. He bowled such a ball that Dubey was forced to play a big shot and made a mistake. This wicket is considered to be a great example of strategy and wisdom.
This match was also special for Jadeja, because he has played for Chennai Super Kings in IPL for a long time and he was transferred to Rajasthan Royals before the 2026 season.
Using his experience in the new team, Jadeja bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets while giving 18 runs in 3 overs. Apart from them, Joffra Archer and Nandre Berger also bowled well, due to which Chennai team was restricted to 127 runs.
After the match, Jadeja said, “The pink jersey of Rajasthan Royals looks good on me. The pitch was a bit difficult and the ball was turning. My job was just to bowl at the right places.” He also said that nothing is fixed in cricket and full hard work is necessary in every match.
