Identify soil quality
A good pot is always made of clean, smooth and unadulterated clay. If there is too much sand or pebbles in the soil, it will not provide proper cooling. Therefore, while purchasing matka, definitely check the quality of other soil.
see the surface of the pot
The outer surface of the pot should be slightly rough. A pot that is too shiny or polished is less effective in cooling water. Therefore, buy it only after examining its surface carefully.
check hole
The more porous the pot is, the better it will cool the water. Pour some water on the pot – if it gets absorbed slowly, then the pot is good.

This is a very easy way to choose the right matka. For this, first tap the pot lightly. If the sound is clear and tinkling, then the pot is cooked well. Heavy and muffled sound indicates poor quality.

While buying matka, look at the pot carefully. There should not be any small crack anywhere, otherwise the water will leak and will not remain cold.
