Horrible accident in Surat: House caught fire due to chemical blast, five dead

Surat. Five people died in a massive fire caused by a chemical explosion in a house located near Mithi Bay in Limbayat area of ​​Surat, Gujarat. There is an atmosphere of mourning and panic in the entire area due to this incident.

It was told that sarees were used in a house, due to which inflammable chemicals were kept there. A massive fire broke out in the house due to a sudden chemical explosion. Five people were badly burnt in this accident, out of which two died on the spot while three injured were taken to Smeer Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared them brought dead. The deceased have been identified as Shahnaz Begum Abdul Kalam Ansari (65 years), Hussa Begum Abdul Kalam Ansari (18 years), Shubhan Ramzan Ali Ansari (4 years), Shabina Ramzan Ali Ansari (28 years), Parveen Abdul Kalam Ansari (19 years).

As soon as information about the incident was received, the local people immediately informed the fire brigade and police. Fire department and ambulance teams reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations on war footing. After hard work the fire was brought under control. Mayor of Surat Municipal Corporation Dakshesh Mavani, who reached the spot of the incident, said that the Municipal Corporation’s fire department and police administration are engaged in their work with full readiness.

At present the administration has controlled the fire and the search operation has also been completed. There is a wave of mourning among the families of the deceased due to this tragic accident. The administration has ordered an investigation into the incident, so that the exact cause of the fire can be found out.
