Now a big news related to this mega-project has come out, the new promo video of the film ‘Rama’ has been passed by the censor board.
Got clean chit from censor board without any cut
According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given this video a ‘U’ certificate without any cuts. This means that this video is suitable for audiences of all ages.
The length of this promo video is said to be 158 seconds (about 2 minutes 38 seconds). In such a long video, a glimpse of the story, visuals and grandeur of the film will be seen, which is going to further increase the enthusiasm of the audience.
Special glimpse will be released on Hanuman Jayanti
The film’s director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are preparing to present this project on a big scale. The makers had already announced that this video titled ‘Rama’ will be released on the special occasion of Hanuman Jayanti i.e. 2nd April. The introduction video of the film was released about one and a half years ago on 3rd July 2025. Now after a long wait, fans will get to see a new glimpse of the film.
Mahakumbh of stars will be seen in Starcast
The biggest feature of this film is its multi-starrer cast.
Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in the role of Lord Ram.
Sai Pallavi will play the role of Mother Sita
Yash will be seen in a powerful avatar of Ravana.
Sunny Deol will play the role of Hanuman
Ravi Dubey will play the role of Laxman
Apart from this, the music of the film is also going to be very special, which is being composed by veteran composers like AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
Mahagatha will be released in two parts
The makers have decided to release this grand story in two parts.
The first part will release on Diwali 2026
The second part will hit theaters in Diwali 2027
