Dhurandhar 2 Box Office: Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ avatar at the box office! Bumper jump in earnings on 13th day, eye on 1500 crore club
Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh’s action packed film ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has brought a tsunami at the box office. The huge crowd of viewers in theaters and the records being broken every day are proof that this film is writing a new page in the history of Indian cinema. Even after almost two weeks of its release, the pace of the film’s earnings is showing no signs of slowing down. Tuesday’s collection has surprised even the trade analysts, because despite being a working day, the film has printed more notes than Monday. On the 13th day, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ created a ruckus at the box office. Usually, there is a huge decline in the earnings of films after the weekend. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ had done a great business of Rs 30.28 crore on Monday, but on the 13th day of its release (second Tuesday), the film made a huge reverse jump in its earnings and collected Rs 33.22 crore. This graph of earnings going up on working days proves how much the craze of the film is running high among the audience. The pride of ‘Jawaan’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Stree 2’ shattered, became number 1. This film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has made a net collection of Rs 899.92 crore in India in just 13 days. Along with this, it has also beaten the lifetime collection of its first part ‘Dhurandhar’ (Rs 840.20 crore). Not only this, this film has become the biggest Hindi net grosser, defeating the Hindi collections of ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Pushpa 2’. Ranveer Singh’s influence continues even at the worldwide level. The film has left behind blockbuster films like ‘Jawaan’, ‘KGF 2’ and ‘RRR’ and now the records of ‘Dangal’ and ‘Bahubali 2’ are on its target. Eyes set on the mega-figure of Rs 1500 crore, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is making waves at the global box office. The worldwide collection of the film is on the threshold of touching the magical figure of Rs 1500 crore. Trade experts believe that as soon as Wednesday’s earning figures are out, this film will proudly enter the mega-club of Rs 1500 crores. Celebs showered praises on ‘Toxic’, huge competition averted. Along with Ranveer Singh in the star cast of the film, veterans like R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi are proving their acting prowess. This film, released on March 19, is being praised not only by the general public but also by celebs. Former Deputy NSA Pankaj Saran has called it a ‘new benchmark’ of Indian cinema, while famous director Imtiaz Ali has also congratulated the entire team for this masterpiece. Let us tell you that this film was going to compete at the box office with Kannada superstar Yash’s much awaited film ‘Toxic’. But due to the conditions and war situation in the Middle East, the release date of ‘Toxic’ has been shifted to June 4. This direct benefit of avoiding clash is falling in the lap of ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
