Today Weather Update: Rapid changes are being seen in the weather of North India these days and the conditions are completely different in different states. At present North India is going through a ‘transition period’ Is passing through. With the arrival of April, the signs of summer are clearly visible. On one hand, while the sun is getting harsher in the plains, on the other hand the icy mood of nature still persists on the peaks of the Himalayas.
Two colors of weather are being seen in the plain states like Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. There is slight coolness in the morning and night in Uttar Pradesh, but as the day progresses, the sunlight becomes stronger, due to which the maximum temperature is being recorded above normal in many districts. However, there remains a possibility of cloud movement and light drizzle over western Uttar Pradesh.
It also rained in many areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh today. The weather remains dry even in the country’s capital Delhi, where mild warmth is being felt during the day and mild cold in the morning. Similarly, in Haryana and Punjab also the temperature is moderate with cool morning and clear sky during the day.
Harsh heat in Rajasthan, snowfall in the mountains
Talking about Western India, the weather in Rajasthan is completely dry and the temperature there is increasing rapidly. Especially in western Rajasthan, the effect of heat is now more visible, although a slight drop in night temperature provides some relief. In sharp contrast, the hilly areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are still experiencing severe cold.
There is a possibility of snowfall in the higher reaches of these states, while there is light rain and cloud cover in the lower areas. The minimum temperature in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Kashmir Valley remains very low and there is still snow in the higher areas.

What is the new forecast of the Meteorological Department?
The weather in the eastern Indian state of Bihar is now gradually becoming warmer. Here, after a slight coolness in the morning, the temperature increases during the day, however, light fog is also being seen in the river bank areas and many districts in the morning. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may gradually increase further in the plains of North India in the coming days. However, experts say that if the Western Disturbance becomes active, the possibility of sudden rain or cloud cover in some areas cannot be ruled out.
