Vasai Child Attack News: A four-year-old boy was brutally beaten by an auto rickshaw driver in Maharashtra’s Palghar district after an argument with his father. The driver picked up the child by his leg and threw him on the ground and then allegedly broke his head with an iron rod. Police gave this information on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place in a housing society in Vasai on Monday night, after which the accused was arrested. He also told that the seriously injured child is fighting for his life in the hospital. The incident was captured in CCTV camera.
Took revenge for minor dispute
Senior Police Inspector Balkrishna Ghadigaonkar told ‘PTI-Bhasha’ Told, ‘This cruel incident happened at around eight o’clock on Monday night. A minor altercation between accused auto rickshaw driver Sandeep Pawar and the child’s father Atul Kondhare took a horrific turn.” Ghadigaonkar said, ‘The boy Vignesh was playing with other children in a parked auto rickshaw. Then the accused came near the auto rickshaw and pulled the child out by his legs. Then he picked up the child and threw him on the ground.”

Child admitted to ICU
The child suffered serious head injuries and was admitted to a hospital on Mira Road. He said that he has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital and his condition is very serious. Accused Pawar was later arrested by the local court and sent to police custody for three days.
A case has been registered against the accused under section 109 (1) (attempt to murder) of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) and other sections as well as the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act and investigation into the incident is underway, the police officer said.
