Washington: US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore said that US President Donald Trump attaches great importance to relations between America and India.
After meeting Trump at the White House, the official residence and office of the US President, Gore wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ on Tuesday evening, “I have returned to America for a few days. First stop: Meeting the President at the White House. The President attaches great importance to the relationship between America and India.
Gore also shared a photo of himself with Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in the ‘Oval Office’ (President’s Office) on social media. Gore took over as US Ambassador to India in January this year. Prior to this he served as Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office. Gore is also the US special envoy for South and Central Asian affairs.
