Ball was tampered in the match against Karachi Kings

The sixth match of Pakistan Super League 2026 was played between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings. In this match, the umpire suspected ball tampering, due to which a penalty of 5 runs was imposed on Lahore Qalandars and the ball was changed. This incident happened before the last over, when Karachi Kings needed 14 runs from 6 balls. After the penalty, the target was reduced to 9 runs, which Karachi achieved in 3 balls and won the match.
