Team India will tour Zimbabwe in July 2026, BCCI releases schedule of 3 T20 matches

Ind vs Zim: Team India is going to tour Zimbabwe in July this year. There the Indian team will play a three-match T20 series with host Zimbabwe. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the complete schedule confirming this tour.

This series will be played from July 23 to July 26. All three T20 matches will be held on Harare grounds. There will be a busy schedule for the players as international series will start immediately after IPL 2026.

India vs Zimbabwe T20 Series Schedule

  • The first T20 match will be played on 23 July 2026 in Harare.
  • The second T20 match will be played on 25 July 2026 in Harare.
  • The third T20 match will be played in Harare on 26 July.

Third tour of Zimbabwe

This will be the Indian team’s third tour of Zimbabwe in the last four years. Earlier, ODI series was played in 2022 and T20 series was played in 2024. Zimbabwe team will visit India a few months after the T20 series in July. An ODI series will be played between the two teams in India. This will be the first time since 2002 that Zimbabwe will play a series in India.

Team India’s busy schedule

After the end of IPL, Team India will play a Test and three ODI series against Afghanistan at home. After this, there will be three ODI and three T20 matches on the England tour. During this tour, the team will also go to Ireland where the T20 series will be played. After the Ireland tour, the Indian team will leave directly for Zimbabwe. In this way players will have to play cricket continuously. BCCI has started preparations for all the series by releasing the schedule.

This tour will be a good opportunity to give international experience to young and secondary players. With the match being held in Harare stadium in Zimbabwe, both the teams will get a chance to play under equal conditions. Team India will aim to win the series with a strong performance.
