The Iran-Israel war has severely disrupted the international energy supply chain. Supply is interrupted due to closure of ‘Strait of Hormuz’. So since the war broke out, world oil prices have risen by 50 percent. This disruption in the supply chain, coupled with the rise in oil prices, has forced state-owned oil companies to hike the prices of commercial LPG cylinders in India.
