Volkswagen Car: Pictures of new Volkswagen Electric ID Polo leaked, know what will be special?

Volkswagen Car: Clear pictures of Volkswagen’s upcoming electric hatchback ID Polo EV have been leaked on the internet. Its global debut is to take place in May, but before that its final design and features have been revealed. This model is based on the company’s Volkswagen ID.2all concept and will be offered as an affordable electric car.

Attractive design and modern look
According to the leaked image, the design of ID Polo EV is largely similar to the concept model. It has slim LED headlights, illuminated VW logo in the middle and closed grille. The rear door handle has been hidden in the C-pillar to improve aerodynamics. The bumper and side mirrors have been given a more practical design.

Bigger and more spacious than before
The new ID Polo EV is much larger than the old Volkswagen Polo. Its length is 4,053 mm, width is 1,816 mm and height is 1,530 mm. The wheelbase of 2,600 mm gives it more cabin space and better comfort.

Hi-tech interior and features
Inside the car, a 10.25-inch digital driver display and 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available. The special thing is that the company has given back physical buttons instead of touch controls, which makes it easier to use while driving. It also has a ‘Retro Mode’, which gives a classic Golf Mk1 style experience.

Battery, range and charging
This electric hatchback will be based on the MEB+ platform and will come with a front-wheel drive system. It will have 38kWh and 56kWh battery pack options. A claimed range of up to 451 km with the larger battery is claimed. Also, 125kW DC fast charging support will be available. The boot space of 435 liters makes it better for long trips.

Sporty GTI variant also ready
Its GTI version has also been revealed in the leak, which has honeycomb grille, red strips and GTI badging. This variant will give more sporty performance with a power of 226hp.
