PM Modi made election noise from tea garden: Plucked leaves with workers, said – NDA is ready for hat-trick in Assam
Guwahati, 1 April. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today reached Guwahati in the election battle of Assam Assembly, the next day after his visit to his home state Gujarat. During this, PM Modi met workers in a tea garden in Dibrugarh, plucked tea leaves with them and then addressed a public meeting in Gogamukh and claimed a hat-trick of NDA’s victory.
In his address, PM Modi said that there has been tremendous development in Assam in the last 10 years and expressed confidence that the people of the state are ready to once again give their blessings to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He said the enthusiasm seen among citizens clearly shows their support for continued development and stability.
The Prime Minister reiterated that this election will shape the vision of a developed India. He said, “This time the election is to make a ‘developed India’… BJP will form the government again in Assam and score a hat-trick of victories.” His comments came when the party has intensified its election campaign across the state for the upcoming assembly elections scheduled for April 9.
Attacked Congress fiercely
Making a sharp attack on the Congress leadership, PM Modi said that the people of Assam are ready to reject the party once again. He said the upcoming elections will give a clear hat-trick to the NDA while the Congress is facing its third consecutive defeat and a ‘century of defeats’ for its ‘self-proclaimed prince’.
PM Modi said that the heavy voting shows the public inclination in favor of the NDA government. He said, ‘This is my first public meeting after the announcement of Assam elections. This huge gathering of people is proof that winning the elections for the third time is certain. He reminded the gathering that he himself had achieved a hat-trick by becoming the Prime Minister and expressed hope that the blessings of the people would give another hat-trick to the BJP in Assam.
