You will be able to order goods from Blinkit even while sitting inside the airport, deal made with Adani

During air travel, we often remember at the last moment that we left the phone charger at home or forgot to take essential items for the journey. To overcome this headache of passengers, Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has taken a unique step. Now passengers will not need to visit expensive showrooms and shops inside the airport as Blinkit has started its special ‘In-Terminal Delivery’ service at Terminal-2.

Launched in partnership with Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), the service is the first of its kind at any airport in India. Now passengers will be able to order essential items through the Blinkit app after clearing the security check, while comfortably sitting in the lounge or waiting for their flight at the boarding gate. This digital experiment will not only save time for passengers, but will also completely transform the traditional shopping experience at the airport.

Where can I get my luggage at the airport?

The biggest feature of this new service is its accessibility. Wherever passengers are in the departure area, whether queuing at the gate or sitting in the food court, Blinkit staff will deliver their luggage to them. For this, specially trained on-ground staff has been deployed as per the security protocols of the airport. It has been ensured that the delivery process does not cause any disruption to passenger movement or airport security arrangements.

You will be able to order many things

Every small and big travel need has been taken care of at Blinkit’s in-terminal store. Travel accessories, electronics (power banks, cables), packed snacks, books and personal care products will be available on the app. Even beverages like water and juice can be ordered. Blinkit co-founder Albinder Dhindsa said that more than 2,500 products will be available in this service, to access which users will have to update their app.
