Which company got the project?
This cloud platform is being operated by Zoho Corporation, which was selected as the master system integrator. Jitin Prasad said that the company was selected through Government e-Marketplace (GeM) with complete transparency and competition. In the selection process, Proof of Concept (PoC) was also done to check the technical capability of the companies, after which Zoho was given this responsibility.
According to the government, the cost of this project depends on the number of email accounts and their storage capacity. Each email account costs Rs 170 to Rs 300 per month. This price is decided based on mailbox capacity ranging from 30GB to 100GB. This model gives the government the facility to spend as per need.
