Wheat procurement through packs started in Jehanabad, Cooperative Minister inaugurated

The process of purchasing wheat through PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Committee) has started in the district. Cooperative Minister Pramod Chandravanshi inaugurated it at Kinari Pax Center and also interacted with the farmers and heard their problems.
On this occasion, the Minister said that the government is continuously taking concrete steps to increase the income of farmers. He said that earlier farmers had to sell their produce at lower prices, but now the government is ensuring purchase of paddy and wheat at Minimum Support Price (MSP), due to which farmers are getting proper benefits.
He informed that wheat procurement has started from April 1 at all the PACS centers in the district. Under this system, farmers will get the opportunity to sell their crops through a transparent and simple process.
The Minister gave strict instructions to the concerned officials that any kind of negligence or irregularity will not be tolerated in the procurement process and farmers should not face any kind of trouble.
A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the farmers during the program. Praising this initiative of the government, he said that now they do not have to wander to sell their produce and timely payment is also being ensured.
Local public representatives and administrative officials were also present on this occasion. This initiative of the government is expected to provide great relief to the farmers of the district and strengthen their economic condition.
