India number-1, America-9, China not in top 10… what kind of rank is this in which India dominates?
New Delhi. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is spreading rapidly in the world and India has achieved the top position in this race, leaving the rest of the world behind. According to a report by BCG, India’s AI adoption rate is 92%, which puts it at the forefront in the world. In this list, America is ninth and China is out of the top 10.
India’s dynamic and tech-savvy workforce
The report says that India’s tech-savvy workforce is helping take the country’s economic growth to new heights. The recently held India AI Impact Summit in India also underlined the importance of AI adoption in the country.
Let us tell you that India AI Mission was approved in March 2024, the total budget of which has been kept at Rs 10,371.92 crore. Under this mission, especially small and medium companies are being encouraged to adopt AI.
Position of top 10 countries
The BCG report lists the top countries in AI adoption as follows:
India – 92%
Spain – 78%
Brazil – 76%
South Africa – 72%
UK – 68%
Italy – 68%
Germany – 67%
France – 64%
America – 64%
Japan – 51%
It is clear from this list that even big countries of Europe and America are finding it difficult to catch up with India’s pace. China, which is always considered a leader in the technological field, is not included in the top 10 in this race. At the same time, even an economy leading in innovation like Israel is not in the top 10.
future prospects
Experts say that this AI pace of India will not be limited only to technological development, but will also bring changes in the industrial and economic sectors. New technologies, smart solutions and data-driven decision making can keep India at the forefront of competition globally.
Government schemes and investments are now extending to small businesses and startups as well, thereby strengthening the AI ecosystem in the country. With this, India can further strengthen its hold in global AI leadership in the coming years.
