Delhi: In the fifth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, Delhi Capitals (DC) performed brilliantly and defeated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) by 6 wickets. Batting first in this match held at Ekana Stadium, the entire Lucknow team was reduced to 141 runs.

Playing against Lucknow, Mitchell Marsh scored 35 runs in 28 balls, which included 2 fours and 3 sixes. With the first six, he completed 300 sixes in his career in T20 cricket. He became the 66th batsman in the world to achieve this feat. Chris Gayle has hit the most sixes in T20, whose number is 1,056.

T Natarajan gave only 29 runs in his 4 overs bowling and took 3 wickets. He sent Ayush Badoni, Abdul Samad and Mohammed Shami to the pavilion. Whereas, Lungi Ngidi took 3 wickets for 27 runs in 3.4 overs. He dismissed Nicholas Pooran, Mohsin Khan and Enrique Norkhia. Kuldeep Yadav also took 2 wickets while spending 31 runs in his 4 overs bowling.
Rizvi’s best score in IPL career
Sameer Rizvi, who came as an impact player, played an unbeaten inning of 70 runs in 47 balls. In this he hit 5 fours and 4 sixes. Despite his slow start, he made an important contribution in helping the team win. This also proved to be the best score of his IPL career.
