TMC MPs accuse Election Commission of working at the behest of BJP!

TMC MPs have accused the Election Commission of irregularities in the West Bengal Assembly elections. He said that the Election Commission, in collaboration with the BJP, is getting the names of outsiders added, so that dishonesty can be done in voting in the assembly elections.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra has questioned efforts by BJP workers to allegedly include new voters in the voter list. He claimed that recently many BJP cadres have been caught with 30,000 to 40,000 Form-6, which shows what these people are doing before the elections.

Moitra said, “With Form-6, any new voter can include himself in the voter list. Even if a lot of youth are becoming new voters in a booth, the booth level agents can take only a maximum of 50 Form-6s. Yet thousands of Form-6s are being submitted. 40 lakh new voters were added in Maharashtra in five months.”

Mahua Moitra, reacting to a letter written by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to the Election Commission, said that the appointment of IPS officers to top posts of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) is being done for election purposes.

Moitra said, “Their head should be from their own cadre. Actually, the central government wants to use CAPF through IPS, so they are removing our officers and giving the responsibility to their own people.”

TMC MP Saugata Roy also responded on the same issue and said that an attempt was made to collect 60,000 Form-6, which was opposed by the party. Roy said, “Our leader Abhishek Banerjee opposed it and we have also protested in front of the office there. We will continue to protest on this issue.”

TMC leader from West Bengal Yusuf Pathan said that people in the state like the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He said, “People appreciate the work that Didi has done for women, youth and the development of the state. Didi has always fought for the people here and will not allow injustice to any citizen in the future.”
