IPL 19: Delhi Capitals made a winning start, left Rajasthan Royals behind in this matter

Sports Desk. On the basis of brilliant innings of Sameer Rizvi (70 not out) and Tristan Stubbs (39 not out), Delhi Capitals made a winning start in IPL 2026 on Wednesday. Delhi Capitals defeated host Lucknow Super Giants by six wickets in their first match played at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. Lucknow Super Giants team could not even bat the entire 20 overs in its innings. They were restricted to a score of only 141 runs in 18.4 overs. Delhi Capitals won an easy victory by losing four wickets in 17.1 overs.

In the match, Delhi Capitals left Rajasthan Royals behind in one special respect. It has left behind the first edition champion Rajasthan Royals in terms of all outing a team in IPL. Delhi Capitals did this for the 19th time. Whereas Rajasthan Royals has the achievement of doing this 18 times. Till now in IPL, the record of all outing the opposing team the most number of times is held by Mumbai Indians, who have done this feat 40 times. Kolkata Knight Riders have done this 25 times, Chennai Super Kings 25 times, Sunrisers Hyderabad 21 times, Delhi Capitals 19 times and Punjab Kings 19 times.

Let us tell you that while chasing the target of 142 from Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals at one time lost four wickets for only 26 runs. After this, Sameer Rizvi (70 not out) and Tristan Stubbs (39 not out) played important roles in helping Delhi win easily.
