Kia Seltos Two new top variants of the are set to be launched, which could be named GTX(O) and X-Line(O). Information about these variants has been revealed in documents related to the Bharat NCAP crash test. However, these models have not yet been included in the official list of the company.

A decision taken at the right time

Kia’s decision is considered to be well-timed for the Seltos. According to a report in a news channel, the year 2026 has been a special year for this SUV, with more than 6 lakh units sold so far. Also, this car has got a 5-star safety rating. So the company is trying to make Seltos more popular with the help of new variants.

Design of new variants

Like the current top models, the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants are also likely to come with premium and attractive designs. The GT-Line version gets a bolder bumper, alloy wheels and green brake calipers. While the X-Line variant is expected to retain the exclusive matte paint and black design elements.

Possible features

Special attention can be paid to the features in these new variants. Kia may once again offer the head-up display feature, which was present in the old Seltos but not in the new model. Apart from this, it is also likely to offer features like dashcam, air purifier and memory function, which could make these models more premium.

Safety and Technology

According to NDTV, these models will have a special focus on safety. Features like 6 airbags, ESC, disc brakes on all four wheels and 360-degree camera will be retained. Along with this, it is also likely to offer Level-2 ADAS technology, which will make these models safer and more advanced.

Engine and possible price

Both these new variants are available with two engine options. A 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine may come mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and another 1.5-litre diesel engine may come mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Kia may launch the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants between May or June 2026, which are likely to be priced between Rs 19 and 22 lakh.
