The images and video of the Tata Sierra mega delivery event have come courtesy of Tata Motors Cars‘ official page on Instagram. In the first image, we can see a lineup of multiple Tata Sierras parked next to each other with bows and other decorations before the deliveries. In addition to this, a video has also been shared in which a drone shot of Tata Sierras getting lined up has been shown.
We can note that there are around 6 rows of the Sierras in the massive parking lot. As for the last slide, we can note that 18 Tata Sierras have been used to write 111 on the parking lot, and an aerial shot of the same looks extremely unique. Along with this, a few images of owners getting handed over the keys to their Sierras have also been shared, and lastly, a short clip with firecrackers bursting rounds up the post.
The above-seen mega delivery event, which took place in Surat, Gujarat, is not the first such event that has taken place. It all started a couple of weeks ago with a similar event which was organised in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. In that event, over 100 units of the Sierra were delivered.
Soon after that, another similar event took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and in this event, 101 units were delivered. During this event, 101 was spelled out using multiple Sierras. Similarly, just a couple of days ago, another mega delivery event took place in Kolkata, where 81 units of the Sierra were delivered. Like all the events, in this event as well, 81 was spelled out using the Sierras.
By now, you must be asking this question: why are Tata Motors and its dealerships across the country organizing such massive delivery events? Well, the simple answer to this question is to manage the demand. Tata Motors, just a little while ago, revealed that its initial bookings of 70,000 units have grown to over 1,00,000 units, highlighting that the demand for the Sierra is only going up.
Now, in such cases, it becomes extremely difficult for dealerships to deliver the cars individually to owners. Even if all the Tata dealerships in a state try to deliver individually, they will only be able to complete a handful of deliveries each day. So, to make the process faster for dealerships and for the awaiting customers, these mega delivery events are organized so that multiple customers can take delivery at the same time without any delay.
Another added benefit of such events is that the company also gets a lot of free marketing. Such massive delivery events are covered by the media, which helps Tata Motors in attracting more customers for the Sierra. Hence, over the last few weeks, we have seen the fourth such event take place.
The Tata Sierra starts at Rs 11.49 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 21.29 lakh. It is being offered in seven variants, including Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+. The top-of-the-line variants come loaded with features such as a triple-screen setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 12-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos.
They also gets an electronic parking brake, a powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and many others.
