Trump’s big threat! ‘Will make Iran into the Stone Age’, the scariest announcement of war made from the White House

US President Donald Trump’s attitude once again appears very aggressive. Addressing the nation from the White House, Trump has openly warned Iran that in the coming weeks America will carry out such bombings that Iran will go back to the ‘Stone Age’. In his 19-minute speech given on Thursday morning Indian time, Trump clearly said, “We are going to launch a very big attack on them in the next two to three weeks. We will take them where they belong.”

Trump has named this military action of America as ‘Epic Fury’. He claimed that the objective of the war against Iran has almost been achieved and the American army will leave from there in the next 15-20 days. Describing the Iranian regime as ‘killer’, Trump said that Iran-backed groups have been spreading terror for the last 47 years and he will never allow such a country to acquire nuclear weapons.

Oil prices on fire and stock market crashing

The effect of Trump’s speech started becoming visible on the global market within a few minutes. As soon as he talked about a ‘big attack’, crude oil prices rocketed in the international market. The price of Brent crude, which was earlier around $100, suddenly jumped by 4% to reach $105.38 per barrel.

It also had a negative impact on Asian markets and the Indian stock market. As soon as the Indian market opened on Thursday morning, Sensex plunged by 1400 points and Nifty by 450 points. There is a fear among investors that if the war flares up further, the Strait of Hormuz, from where 20% of the world’s energy is supplied, could be completely closed.

War called ‘investment’ of the future

The surprising thing is that Trump has called this destructive war a ‘true investment’ for the coming generations of America. Referring to the long wars of the last century, he said that this conflict has been going on for only 32 days and America is now more secure and prosperous than ever. He thanked allies like Israel, Saudi Arabia and UAE and said that Iran remained a threat to these countries without any provocation.

Experts still have doubts

Although Trump is claiming his victory, defense experts and former diplomats do not agree with his words. Melissa Toufanian, an advisor to former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, said that Trump’s speech has left people more confused. He raised the question that there is no clear plan or time limit visible for this war. Former US Ambassador to NATO, Ivo Dalder, asked that if Iran’s military power has been destroyed as per Trump’s claim, then why does America still want to bomb there? At present, this announcement by Trump has put the entire world on the brink of a major economic and strategic crisis.
