This program was organized in the cattle fair organized by former Aurai BJP MLA and former minister Ram Surat Rai in Garha police station area. A huge crowd gathered here due to the news of Khesari Lal Yadav’s arrival. It is being told that more than one lakh people had attended the event, due to which the arrangements for the event completely broke down. There were not enough arrangements to handle the crowd, which resulted in chaos.
The crowd went out of control as soon as the performance started
As soon as Khesari Lal Yadav reached the stage on Wednesday evening and started singing, the crowd suddenly went out of control. People started moving towards the stage and immediately started throwing shoes and slippers. In the viral video, it can be clearly seen how people are throwing things towards the stage, due to which the atmosphere was completely spoiled. As the situation worsened, the police present at the spot took charge. The police had to resort to lathicharge to control the crowd. After the lathicharge, there was a stampede at the venue and people started running here and there. Many people were seen colliding with each other and falling due to fear. The police continued to disperse the crowd and normalize the situation.
major accident averted
According to eyewitnesses, during the stampede many people fell on the ground and suffered minor injuries. However, it is a matter of relief that there has been no official confirmation of anyone being seriously injured or killed. Khesari Lal Yadav was also taken to a safe place in time, due to which his safety could be ensured. This is not the first case of disorder in this cattle fair. Two days ago, the video of a fight between dancers on the theater stage of the fair had gone viral. Even after that incident, questions were raised on the security arrangements, but despite this, concrete arrangements for crowd control and security were not made, which resulted in this big uproar.
