US President Donald Trump is known for his outspoken statements, but this time he has directly targeted French President Emmanuel Macron. During a lunch, Trump made a very personal comment while making fun of Macron. Trump said, “I called Macron of France, whose wife treats him very badly. He is still recovering from the punch she gave him in the face.”
Surprisingly, this comment of Trump was recorded in a video and it was also uploaded on the official YouTube channel of the White House. As soon as the news spread and the controversy began to grow, the video was immediately blocked.

Trump made this comment in the context of a popular video from May last year. In that video, Macron’s wife Brigitte was caught on camera pushing the French President during his visit to Vietnam. However, at that time Macron had dismissed it as mere propaganda, but Trump has now scratched this wound again.
Mocked Macron on the issue of military help
During lunch, Trump was not limited to just personal comments. He also slammed Macron over the Middle East war and military aid. Trump told that he had asked for help from France, but Macron raised his hands. According to Trump, he said, “Emmanuel, we would love to have a little help in the Gulf, even though we are setting records in eliminating ballistic missiles. Can you send some ships?”
Trump further made fun of Macron by imitating his French accent. He said Macron responded, “No no Donald, we can help after we win this war.” On this, Trump sarcastically said that after winning the war, we do not need anyone’s help.
