Kerala Elections: Suresh Gopi’s road show in CM Vijayan’s stronghold, created an atmosphere in favor of NDA; crowd of people visible

Suresh Gopi Road Show: The stir in Kerala politics intensified on Thursday when Union Minister of State Suresh Gopi demonstrated political strength by holding a vigorous road show in Pinarayi, the home constituency of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. NDA candidate in Dharamdam assembly constituency K. Despite the scorching heat, a large number of people gathered in this road show organized in support of Ranjeet. When actor-turned-politician Suresh Gopi arrived in an open vehicle, he was given a warm welcome by his supporters. The procession passed through the crowded streets accompanied by bands, drums and colorful programmes. During this, Gopi was seen greeting people and appealing for votes.

However, an emotional moment was also seen amidst this political demonstration. After the road show, Suresh Gopi reached the house of BJP worker Ramith and met his mother and expressed condolences. During this, he appeared emotional and the atmosphere became calm and sad for some time.

Mega road show in Pinarayi Vijayan’s stronghold

Actually, Dharmadam seat is considered very special politically because it is the stronghold of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. This time, 80-year-old Vijayan is trying to bring the Left Democratic Front (LDF) to power for the third consecutive time. In 2021, he broke the traditional electoral system of the state by winning by a margin of more than 50 thousand votes.

NDA in mood to challenge even on strong seats

Suresh Gopi’s campaign in this area reflects the strategy of NDA under which the party wants to present a challenge even in strong strongholds. Earlier, BJP national president Nitin Nabin had held a road show in Mattanur, which is believed to be part of an effort to intensify the party’s campaign in Kannur.

Suresh Gopi also defeated NDA candidate O in Thalassery. Campaigned in support of Nidhish, wherever a good crowd was seen. Overall, Suresh Gopi’s visit to Pinarayi was not limited to just crowds and demonstrations, rather he tried to create an atmosphere through political message as well as emotional connect, which has given a new dimension to the political challenge in the Chief Minister’s stronghold.
